The rapid market reforms and its enormous growth in Russia and the Commonwealth of independent states have created the need for huge development of a complete new transport infrastructure. International Exhibitions Skald had been in the past mainly a forum for the warehousing and storage systems. In order to meet the increasing demand of time, STL-2008 has been launched with a series of new features. Now it is a fully dedicated forum for the transport and transport related industries in the former Soviet Union. The show enjoys full support of the Russian Ministry of Transport, The Government of Moscow and the Administration of Moscow region.
