14TH annual INTERNATIONAL FREIGHT TRANSPORT, TERMINALS, WAREHOUSING SYSTEMS AND LOGISTICS EXHIBITION. 27 - 30 October, 2008 Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow, Russia.
The rapid market reforms and its enormous growth in Russia and the Commonwealth of independent states have created the need for huge development of a complete new transport infrastructure. The success of the new free market economy mostly depends on the viable and efficient transportation network. Therefore, major developments and modernisation projects have already been undertaken which are receiving substantial funding from International financial Institutions including the EBRD, World Bank, International Finance Corporation, TACIS and European Union.
These projects encompass Road, Rail, Air and Maritime transport as well as the transport related industries and logistics services including Sea and Airports construction and redevelopment, warehousing and storage systems, satellite communications and cargo handling systems.
International Exhibitions Skald had been in the past mainly a forum for the warehousing and storage systems. In order to meet the increasing demand of time, STL-2008 has been launched with a series of new features. Now it is a fully dedicated forum for the transport and transport related industries in the former Soviet Union. The show enjoys full support of the Russian Ministry of Transport, The Government of Moscow and the Administration of Moscow region.
In order to make your participation most effective, we strongly recommend you to place advertising in the Official Catalogue of the Exhibition, which is called Exhibitors' Buyers guide. It will be published in 15,000 copies and distributed in the Exhibition centre as well to our existing clients.
